Before they stop believing in Santa 🎅

Dear collector of moments that matter most,

There is a small window in every child’s life when Santa is real.
Not a story. Not a man in a costume.

But someone who knows your name, remembers your wishes,
and somehow gets you the best presents in the whole wide world.

When Arya was five, we took her to Santa Claus Village.
Across the Arctic Circle, into a place where snow never runs out and Christmas never ends.

This is where she met Santa.

A towering, jolly old man with a booming voice.
Warm. Unmistakable.

A year earlier, Arya had found a beautiful snow globe at a Christmas market in Austria.
A tiny Santa, riding a reindeer sled in swirling snow.

She loved it.

Until one day it slipped from her hands and shattered.
She was heartbroken.
Santa was gone.

So when we planned this visit, we quietly told Santa’s team that story.

And when Arya finally met him, he bent down and said:

“I know what happened to your snow globe.”

Her eyes went wide.

Then he handed her a new one.
From Santa.
Just for her.

That moment.
The surprise.
The sheer joy.

It’s one of our most treasured Christmas memories.
We took this photograph that day.

Many of you have seen it when you’ve come to Niddledy Noddledy.
It hangs on the wall. One of the first things we see every morning.

It holds laughter, love, and the magic of believing.
What we didn’t know then was how close we came to missing it.

Within days of that photograph being taken, the world shut down.
Borders closed. Flights grounded.
We barely made it home in time.

I think about that often.
Some moments don’t announce themselves as important until much later.

That’s why Christmas memories matter so much to me.

Because belief fades.
Because childhood moves faster than we expect.
Because photographs can hold what time refuses to.

Every time I photograph a family, this is what I hope to give you:

A way back.
A reminder of who you were together.
Proof that the magic really was there.

These aren’t just photographs.
They’re return tickets.

To laughter.
To wonder.
To the days we thought would last forever.

And if there’s one season that reminds us to hold on while we can,
it’s this one.

With a heart full of Christmas wonder,

Suchanda

Hi, I’m Suchanda, the ♥️ behind Niddledy Noddledy 📸
And this is the day imagination showed up in boots and a beard.

As a mother myself, I understand how quickly the precious moments of life slip by—from the quiet anticipation of maternity to the joyful chaos of childhood. For many years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing families, capturing the giggles, the mischief, and those tender moments that make your journey so special.

My sessions are designed to create a relaxed, joyful environment where expectant mothers, little ones, and even the not-so-little ones feel free to laugh, play, and just be themselves. Whether it’s the serene glow of motherhood, a cheeky toddler grin, or the way your baby holds your hand, I’m here to preserve the details you’ll treasure forever.
