Your little one will love this season 🎄

Dear collector of winter giggles and warm memories,

It’s that time of the year again.
Christmas spirit is tiptoeing into our lives… slowly, gently, and all at once.

Calcutta does Christmas like no other city.
The moment December arrives, something shifts.

A little nip in the air.
Park Street glowing under fairy lights.
Nahoum’s plum cakes scenting the season.
Joyful carols ringing through St. Paul’s Cathedral.

And just like that, magic begins to happen.

Parents start smiling a little more.
Children start believing a little more.
Santa caps start sprouting all around.

Every year, this season brings a special kind of joy to my studio.

A gentler light.
A happier, warmer energy.
A playful chaos of tiny Christmas elves.

Christmas has always been one of my favourite times to photograph.
There is a warmth in these sessions that has nothing to do with sweaters or hot chocolate.
It's parents celebrating a season that suddenly feels new again… because their little person is seeing it for the first time.

The sparkle in their eyes at the twinkling lights.
Tiny hands reaching for bright ornaments.
Little giggles at bells and baubles.

These are the moments that become stories you’ll tell for years.
Because Christmas is not, after all, just a festival.

It is a feeling.
A wispy memory of happy times.
A return ticket to childhood… both theirs and ours.

As the year folds into the next, I hope your home fills with moments that warm your heart, make your cheeks ache from smiling, and leave your camera roll bursting with joy.

If your little one is celebrating their first (or second, or fifth) Christmas,
I hope this season brings you moments worth holding on to…
moments that feel like love wrapped in lights.

With a little Christmas sparkle,

Suchanda

Hi, I’m Suchanda, the ♥️ behind Niddledy Noddledy 📸
And here’s a little Christmas throwback from when I could lift my own tiny elf with one arm and a smile.

As a mother myself, I understand how quickly the precious moments of life slip by—from the quiet anticipation of maternity to the joyful chaos of childhood. For many years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing families, capturing the giggles, the mischief, and those tender moments that make your journey so special.

My sessions are designed to create a relaxed, joyful environment where expectant mothers, little ones, and even the not-so-little ones feel free to laugh, play, and just be themselves. Whether it’s the serene glow of motherhood, a cheeky toddler grin, or the way your baby holds your hand, I’m here to preserve the details you’ll treasure forever.

Dear collector of moments that matter most, There is a small window in every child’s life when Santa is real. Not a story. Not a man in a costume. But someone who knows your name, remembers your wishes, and somehow gets you the best presents in the whole wide world. When Arya was five, we took her to Santa Claus Village.Across the Arctic Circle, into a place where snow never runs out and Christmas never ends. This is where she met Santa. A towering, jolly old man with a booming voice.Warm....
